Hollywood no doubt keeps getting better, getting better all the time. Why I finally got to watch the Dark Knight last night and it touched me and wowed me like never before. Everything about the movie was Hellagood from the actors to the props to the storyline it was all too good. Christian Bale, Heath ledger (Rest in Peace was just too good) and Morgan Freeman were on top of their game.
The Voice: Finally the Guru's in Hollywood have realized that just by wearing a mask Bruce Wayne aint fooling no one. A public figure like him would have to disguise a lot more to deceive the people of Gotham. The movie does not explain how he does it but BatMan sounds nothing like his alter ego.
The Girl: At first I was kinda dissapointed that they had cast Maggie Gyllenhall as the leading lady but later on I discovered that they had their reasons. If they had cast someonelike Eva Mendez they'd be moving the focus away from the real issues at hand. Plus I don't see anyone getting dissapointed over losing a Kirsten Dunst look alike. Wasn't she just too easy to let go? mwahaha so thats another point for the Dark Knight.
The Joker: The Joker was portrayed like never before in the movie. Heath Ledger showed us just how much of a crazed lunatic the twisted clown is. From the flipping of the hair to the movement of the tongue it was just how it should have been. Heath Ledger certainly gave us all a performance of a life time before leaving. He has reason to celebrate from beyond the grave.
So in short I really! really! utterly! completely enjoyed the movie... waiting for a good copy to come out was really worth it.
